Job overview and responsibilities
The Technical Operations Line Planning team is currently seeking a manager with a strong passion for aircraft maintenance, operational planning, strategy, and innovation. This person is a proactive self-starter who is detail-oriented, innovative, and has a well-rounded understanding of Aircraft Line Maintenance Planning and DT. You will collaborate with a team to identify SMEs and develop and implement new planning processes, manage Line Planning projects, review, and define new enhancements for Line Planning DT and help create and manage training to support the Line Planning Team. To be successful, the qualified candidate will require professionalism, integrity, a strong work ethic, a continuous improvement mindset and the ability to manage multiple initiatives to support Aircraft Line Maintenance Planning.
Collaborate with the Digital Technology teams and SMEs to develop, assess, and implement new software platforms and enhancements
Manage multiple Line Planning projects, initiatives and reporting out on associated KPIs
Develop and manage Line Planning training for DT and planning processes
Manage specific planning DT platforms and databases
Review and manage enhancements and feedback for Line Planning DT and process improvement
Qualifications
What’s needed to succeed (Minimum Qualifications):
Bachelor's degree in Aviation, Operations Management, Mechanical Engineering, Technology or Technical Management or related experience
5+ years of experience in Airline Operations Management, and/or Planning
Working knowledge of aircraft maintenance programs, aircraft routing, aircraft maintenance operations, and FAA/regulatory compliance
Microsoft 365
Ability to manage multiple projects and work under time constraints
Travel up to 20%
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States for any employer without sponsorship
Successful completion of interview required to meet job qualification
Reliable, punctual attendance is an essential function of the position
What will help you propel from the pack (Preferred Qualifications):
Master's degree in Aviation, Operations Management, Mechanical Engineering, Technology or Technical Management
Airframe & Powerplant license
PMO certification
Lean Six Sigma certification
MS 365 certification
2+ years of experience in a process/continuous improvement role
Knowledge of airline network operations
Microsoft Power Platform
Agile and process improvement
The base pay range for this role is $102,220.00 to $133,194.00.
The base salary range/hourly rate listed is dependent on job-related, factors such as experience, education, and skills. This position is also eligible for bonus and/or long-term incentive compensation awards.
