Talent Acquisition Specialist , this position is on-site. The role may be located at any Abbott site across Puerto Rico (Arecibo, Barceloneta, Caguas and/or San Juan).

The Opportunity
This position will provide support to Abbott Business in Puerto Rico and OUS; this is onsite position. The role may be located at any Abbott site across Puerto Rico (Arecibo, Barceloneta, Caguas and/or San Juan. As the Talent Acquisition Specialist , you will be responsible to the recruit and placement for the Puerto Rico sites and or OUS, as business needed; to manage the on-going program and its effectiveness and sourcing /selection strategies. Will support the University Relations Intake programs and may participate in Area/Global Talent Acquisition projects and Hubs.
What You’ll Do
Complies with the procedures used for the sourcing, recruiting, screening, and interviewing of job applicants.
Contact, maintain relationship, and negotiate with employment agencies, universities, technical schools, and government agencies for the selection and provision of specialized personnel as temporary help to meet organizational needs.
Assure compliance with Federal and Puerto Rico Laws.
Point of contact for Talent Acquisition needs for the sites supporting.
Participate in assigned projects at country and area level.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in human resources or business administration or related.
Minimum 3-5 years of experience in a human resources role. Two years of experience in areas such as Sourcing, Selection, Hiring, Intake programs among others.
Experience with the end-to-end recruitment process (recruiting activities, selection, placement, and interviews) in a manufacturing or consulting environment. Recruitment experience at non-exempt, professional, and leadership roles.
Possess working knowledge inPRand Federal Labor Laws.
Experience managing university relations programs.
MS Office proficient.
Have experience in managing multiple tasks and projects related to theHuman Resourcesfield.
Have stronganalytical skills.
Haveexcellent interpersonal skills.
Have excellentverbaland written communications skills in both English and Spanish.
Be self-started, results, and service-oriented.
Have the ability towork under pressure.
Possess a strong ability to deal with confidential and sensitive situations.
Possess the ability to work under minimumsupervision.
Be able to work under tight due date schedules.
Preferred qualifications:
Workday experience highly preferred.
Excel advanced is preferred.
Power BI is desirable.

The base pay for this position is $54,300.00 – $109,000.00. In specific locations, the pay range may vary from the range posted.
