Confidential Employer Medical Transportation Driver in Ardmore, Pennsylvania

Job Title: Medical Transportation Driver Reporting to: TruVine Transportation Manager Classification: Permanent Part-Time / On-Call Compensation: $17.00 per hour (starting wage) Effective Date: TBD Probation Period: 90-Day Orientation

Position Summary

TruVine Patient Transportation is seeking dependable, compassionate, and safety-minded individuals to join our team as Medical Transportation Drivers. In this role, you will be responsible for transporting patients to and from hospitals, dialysis centers, rehabilitation facilities, medical appointments, and private residences. Your professionalism, punctuality, and dedication to excellent customer service will help ensure each client receives care and dignity throughout their ride experience.

Requirements

To be considered, applicants must meet the following criteria:

  1. Minimum 2 years of experience in medical patient care (e.g., CNA, home health aide, EMT, or similar role).
  2. Understanding and adherence to TruVine Transportation's Standard Operating Procedures.
  3. Minimum age of 21 years.
  4. Valid Pennsylvania Driver's License with a clean 5-year DMV record.
    • No more than 1 moving violation or 1 "at-fault" accident in the past 3 years.
  5. Must pass pre-employment drug and alcohol screening.
  6. Must clear a criminal background check.
  7. Current CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).
  8. Strong communication skills and the ability to follow written and verbal instructions in English.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Safely and courteously transport patients using company vehicles.
  • Maintain communication with dispatch regarding pick-ups, drop-offs, and route updates.
  • Represent TruVine with a positive and professional demeanor at all times.
  • Conduct daily vehicle inspections (pre-trip and post-trip) and maintain cleanliness.
  • Assist patients in and out of the vehicle, including wheelchair loading and securement when needed.
  • Operate and navigate GPS systems, 2-way radios, and mobile devices effectively.
  • Maintain accurate daily logs, mileage sheets, and incident reports.
  • Comply with all company protocols and safety guidelines.
  • Must be able to lift and maneuver up to 50 lbs. and safely assist clients on various terrains.
