As part of the Supplier Engineering function, the Material Program Manager III serves as the central facilitator between Global Sourcing and Product Development teams to drive supply chain development. In this project lead role, you will partner with cross-functional engineering and technology category teams to mitigate risks, develop and procure materials, and drive component production readiness for new and next-generation products. This is a hybrid technical project management role. Work model, sponsorship, relocation: At Boston Scientific, we value collaboration and synergy. This role follows a hybrid work model requiring employees to be in our local office at least three days per week. Your responsibilities will include: * Driving execution of supplier management projects, including delegating tasks, tracking project schedules, identifying risks, and developing and executing contingency plans. * Managing roadblocks that impact project success by identifying solutions for resource allocation, changing project requirements, and other potential issues. * Communicating updates on project deliverables and collaborating with category teams, customers, and stakeholders to resolve issues. * Facilitating efforts between project and category teams to drive component production readiness, cost reduction, and design for manufacturability. * Utilizing business knowledge and influence to drive completion of tasks and build technical expertise among cross-functional engineering teams for future programs. * Partnering with direct purchasing and project teams to procure required materials. * Identifying process improvement opportunities to enhance efficiency for the Material Program Management team and support product life cycle processes. Qualifications: Required qualifications: * Bachelor's degree in any engineering discipline. * Minimum of 3 years' engineering experience. * Project management experience with the ability to create process flows and execute deliverables. Preferred qualifications: * Minimum of 3 years' experience in the medical device industry. * Experience managing large-scale and complex projects involving multiple functions and sites. * Ability to navigate ambiguous situations with strong conflict management and resolution skills. * Strong leadership skills with the ability to influence change and drive performance cross-functionally. * Effective written and verbal communication skills across all levels of the organization. * Results-oriented with strong organizational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities. * Strong problem-solving and critical thinking abilities; analytical and process-driven. * Customer service-oriented with strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build and maintain relationships.
