Accounting Specialist (Long Term Contract) - Arden Hills, MN | Up to $32/hr (DOE)
Beacon Hill Financial is seeking a detail-oriented Accounting Specialist for a long-term contract opportunity with a growing organization in the Arden Hills, MN area. This role focuses on day-to-day accounting operations, general ledger support, and regulatory reporting. Ideal candidates are proactive, analytical, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
Manage daily AR/AP, invoicing, and cash reconciliations
Post payments and assist with cash management activities
Support general ledger reconciliations and month-end close
Assist with regulatory filings, including unclaimed property
Contribute to reinsurance processes and audit preparation
Qualifications:
2-4 years of accounting experience
Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (or equivalent experience)
Strong Excel and Microsoft Office skills
High attention to detail with strong problem-solving ability
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
