Group Leader -- Production Assembly & Paint Line

 

As our Group Leader for the Production Assembly & Paint Line you will be responsible for supervising and guiding team members across both assembly and paint operations to achieve production targets while ensuring quality standards, safety compliance, and operational efficiency. This position combines hands-on technical expertise with leadership responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities

 

Leadership & Team Management

  • Direct and coordinate assembly and paint line teams to meet production goals and maintain quality standards.
  • Assign tasks, monitor progress, and enforce safety procedures.
  • Train, coach, and mentor team members to enhance skills and performance.
  • Act as the primary contact for shift-related concerns and escalate issues when necessary.

Technical & Production

  • Oversee handling, positioning, and assembly of components according to established processes.
  • Ensure proper setup and safe operation of tools, equipment, and paint systems.
  • Perform visual inspections and verify compliance with specifications.
  • Troubleshoot minor deviations and implement corrective actions.

Continuous Improvement

  • Identify opportunities to improve processes, boost efficiency, and minimize waste.
  • Support lean manufacturing initiatives and best practices.

Administrative

  • Maintain accurate production records and report daily output.
  • Monitor attendance and uphold company policies.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in assembly or paint line operations within a production environment.
  • Prior leadership or supervisory experience is strongly preferred.
  • Ability to read blueprints and follow written and verbal instructions in English.
  • Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
