Description
Join a leading healthcare organization in Appleton, WI as the Director of Patient Access. In this pivotal leadership role, you’ll take charge of all patient access operations, champion continuous improvement, and set the strategic vision for delivering outstanding service to patients and their families.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee patient registration, scheduling, insurance verification, pre-authorization, and admissions processes
Design and implement policies and procedures to optimize efficiency, enhance patient satisfaction, and uphold regulatory standards
Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team of patient access managers and staff
Leverage data and analytics to identify opportunities for operational improvement and implement best practices
Collaborate with revenue cycle, finance, and clinical leaders to ensure seamless patient flow and an excellent patient experience
Track and analyze key performance indicators to ensure departmental goals are consistently achieved
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Business, or related field
5+ years of progressive experience in patient access, revenue cycle, or healthcare operations, with at least 2 years in a leadership role
Proven track record of managing teams and driving process improvements in a healthcare setting
Strong knowledge of regulatory requirements and insurance processes
Excellent communication, problem-solving, and leadership skills
