Thrivent Financial Client Service Support Rep - Bank in Appleton, Wisconsin
This position will directly support bank’s clients, internal and external, to accurately process transaction requests which will require strong written and verbal communication. A broad knowledge of products and services that the bank offers is required.
**This position will work onsite in our Ballard Operations Center in Appleton, WI.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Responsible for client requests which include check deposits, official bank check requests, check/statement copies, remote deposit capture reviews, and return mail processing.
Processes client requests to mail documents by verifying address details, preparing materials for mailing, and documenting completion in the client record. Processing of inactive notices and verification of deposits.
Handle sensitive telephone and internet communications with clients, which may include highly confidential information and influence behavior through verbal communication to ensure high level of customer satisfaction.
Assist other areas of the Deposit Operations department with various tasks as needed.
Responsible for research requests received from internal and external clients related to transactions.
Adherence to regulations relating to deposit functions throughout the bank is required. For example, Regulation CC and Regulation E.
Ability to take on and manage additional projects, including continuous improvement opportunities, outside of the regular daily duties.
QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS:
Required:
High school/equivalent education
Bank operations platform experience preferred
Strong written and verbal communication, interpersonal and customer-service skills
Good organizational, time management and problem-solving skills
Ability to work quickly and accurately, both independently and as a part of a team, with interruptions to meet deadlines.

The applicable salary or hourly wage range for this full-time role is $17.96 - $24.30 per hour, which factors in various geographic regions. The base pay actually offered will be determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to, location, relevant experience, skills, and knowledge, business needs, market demand, and other factors Thrivent deems important.
