Job Title: Assembly Technician
Job Description
You will be working in a manufacturing environment to build and assembly a variety of machinery for the heavy equipment, material handling and paper production industries. You will also be working from blueprints to ensure that builds are completed to specifications. Job duties include: assembling and building frameworks, installing bearings and belts, mounting motors, installing doors and fixtures, installing pumps, completing basic electrical wiring and using a variety of tools on a daily basis.
Shift: 1st Shift ; 4X10's schedule
Job Duties
Work from blueprints and drawings to complete custom machine builds
Use overhead cranes and forklifts on a daily basis
Build machinery frameworks, stands and assemble structures
Install motors, pumps, and gearboxes
Installed belting, bearings, bushings, and other parts
Assist with minor electrical wiring and panel building
Start-up and test completed machine builds
Requirements:
2+ years of relevant experience required (automotive mechanic, maintenance, assembly or construction will be considered)
Previous OEM assembly, mechanical assembly or machine building experience preferred
Experience working from blueprints preferred

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $28.50/hr.
