RESPONSIBILITIES: The Weatherization Technician Specialist is responsible for a variety of activities to weatherize homes and make them more energy efficient. Duties include but are not limited to; installing and sealing air ducts, combustion air openings, or ventilation openings; repairing and installing storm windows and storm doors, installing weather stripping, and performing site clean-up.
REQUIREMENTS: Candidates must have basic carpentry and repair skills, using hand and power tools for windows, drywall, or insulation and be comfortable with working in tight spaces (attics, basements, crawlspaces). Must have physical capability to climb ladders and lift up to 75 pounds.
Organizational skills and detail oriented for paperwork completion, to maintain tools and vehicles, assist with warehouse duties, inspect materials for defects, perform quality checks, and ensure proper installation. Must have ability to work independently, follow written/oral instructions, adhere to safety protocols and professional conduct standards. Punctuality and reliability for appointments and job completion is a must.
Twelve months of experience; OSHA 10 Certification (course and training provided by the agency).

with all clients, co-workers, and the public with a positive attitude while motivating and inspiring others.
This position requires maintaining a valid drivers license and current auto liability insurance at all times.
DETAILS: This is a full time position working 36 hours per week. Hourly wage: $16.00- $20.00. Starting date: Immediately. Application deadline: Open until position is filled. Grade: 4
