A local leader in electronic circuit board and components manufacturing is seeking a Quality Inspector to join their team.
Job Title: Quality Inspector Electronics
Location: Apopka, FL
Pay: $16.00 – $18.00/hr (Depending on Experience)
Available Shifts: Monday – Friday
1st Shift: 7:30am – 4:30pm
What’s the Job?
Inspect Electronic Assemblies: Perform visual and microscopic inspections of printed circuit boards and electronic assemblies to identify defects, workmanship issues, and nonconformances in accordance with quality standards.
Electronic Assembly & Touch-Up: Assemble, rework, and solder electronic components as needed to support quality corrections and product reliability, using hand tools and soldering equipment.
Quality Documentation & Reporting: Accurately document inspection results, defects, and corrective actions; communicate findings to production and engineering teams.
Troubleshooting & Defect Identification: Identify root causes of assembly defects and verify corrective actions to ensure compliance with internal and customer specifications.
Interpret Technical Documentation: Read and interpret electronic schematics, assembly drawings, work instructions, and quality criteria in English to ensure conformance to design and manufacturing standards.
Standards Compliance: Follow IPC and company quality guidelines to support products used in medical, industrial, and military applications.
What’s Needed?
Relevant Experience: Minimum 1–2 years of experience in electronic assembly and/or electronic quality inspection. Soldering and rework experience required.
Inspection Skills: Strong visual acuity with experience using microscopes and inspection tools to evaluate small, high-density components.
Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy and consistency when inspecting and documenting electronic assemblies.
Technical Knowledge: Familiarity with electronic components, PCB layouts, and workmanship standards (IPC experience is a plus).
Communication Skills: Ability to read, speak, and understand English fluently.
