Job Description
Day to Day:
Our customer is seeing a IOT Scrum Master to join their team in Apex, NC. In this role you will be a member of the IOT operations team and you will lead multiple IoT scrum teams. You will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and managing the design and rapid development of smart products and full-stack IoT solutions, from the device up through cloud architecture and apps. Your role requires influencing diverse scrum team members within our matrix organization, comprising engineers in multiple locations globally. By being well-versed in Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) methodologies and adapting them to our organizational needs, and utilizing your understanding of the latest IoT technologies, you will contribute to the development of innovative solutions that provide differentiated value to their customers. Your natural leadership abilities and drive will help enable the team to complete projects that meet or exceed customer expectations and delivery timeframes.
This role requires someone who possesses the following skills:
• Experience working with engineering and product owners to guide individuals as part of a scrum team to a clear understanding of processes and approaches.
• Deep execution authority knowledge base with basic understanding of IoT technology development to deliver Pentair Pool IoT full-stack solutions
• Ability to manage project-level risks, issues, dependencies, and assumptions and help remove impediments.
• Facilitate and direct discussions to achieve agreement amongst scrum teams.
• Ability to think on your feet; can quickly analyze a situation, guide the conversation, and organize the team around a solution.
• Create an environment of mutual influence.
• Proven and in-depth understanding of agile development and continuous deployment practices.
• Comfortable presenting to all levels (teams to functional leadership); uses tools and techniques to keep the participants interested and engaged.
• Deliver communication with tact; demonstrate sensitivity regarding how the message is received.
• Nurture the team’s understanding of Agile principles and practices through the use of multiple tools and techniques.
• Maintain and monitor the team’s capacity levels and resource needs. Contribute to the development of performance metrics for scrum planning and execution to maintain alignment of team performance and business goals.

Skills and Requirements
• Prior experience working as a Scrum Master within an IOT environment, ideally NPD
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, or other related Engineering discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience as a Scrum Master or another agile leadership role within safe environment
• Possess or be able to obtain SAFe Agile ScrumMaster certification within 6 months of the start date.
• Experience supporting Program Increment Planning sessions, scrum teams, product owner syncs, and system demos.
• Experience executing within Program Increments (PIs) and promoting improvement of workflow through post-PI retrospectives.
• Experience coaching scrum teams to execute and release value as part of an Agile Release Train.
• Experience with Agile Lifecycle Management Tools (JIRA, JIRA Hive, etc.), and using Microsoft 365 and various tools.
• Demonstrated curiosity about the business and products, and comfort in working in and with a high-trust, adaptable, team environment.
