Amentum Network Services Support Supervisor - Diego Garcia in AP, United Kingdom
Amentum, a global leader in advanced engineering, technical, and professional services serving the US government, allies and critical infrastructure sectors, is seeking a Network Services Support Supervisor to support a government contract based on the island of Diego Garcia.
PURPOSE / SCOPE
The Network Services Support Officer (NSSO) is responsible for managing and supporting local utilization of ONE-Net, ONE-Net contract products, data sharing capability, and available IT facilities to meet local IT requirements. Will also analyze, advise, implement, correct and maintain as needed to ensure IT requirements and systems are available and secure. NSSO will perform other duties as assigned by Program leadership.
The NSSO will be available for on-call support as needed 24 hours/day, 7 days/week in this role.
QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's degree from an accredited four-year college or university with a major in computer science, information systems, engineering, business, or approximately 10 years of experience in related fields, two of which must be management experience.
Experience with data center environment in areas of network for voice and data, Internet infrastructure, and security.
Requirements outlined in the DOD 8140.03 and Intermediate Level Workforce Code 441
Must have three years’ experience in a similar role preferably in the military or a government installation
Must be familiar with current global, US, Program and PWS requirements
Excellent organizational and time management skills
Ability to obtain and maintain a US passport and driver's license throughout employment in this role
Ability to successfully pass PACOM medical requirements and maintain requirements for duration of deployment
Must be able to obtain and maintain facility credentials/authorization. Note: US Citizenship is required for facility credentials/authorization at this work location.
WORK ENVIRONMENT, PHYSICAL DEMANDS
Able to stand for long periods of time such as eight (8) to ten (10) hours, bend, kneel, and reach to store/retrieve supplies
Able to lift, carry, and push supplies and boxes up to 50 pounds
Living and working conditions at the assignment location could be remote and uncomfortable
May work in a typical office environment
