Amentum Material Management Supervisor - Diego Garcia in AP, United Kingdom
Amentum, a global leader in advanced engineering, technical, and professional services serving the US government, allies and critical infrastructure sectors, is seeking a Material Management Supervisor to support a government contract based on the island of Diego Garcia.
PURPOSE / SCOPE
The Material Management Supervisor duties supporting the Diego Garcia program will include requisition, inventory management, warehousing and transportation services. Material management services shall include stevedore services (boarding vessels and handling materials on deck; operating shore/pier-side cranes and MHE that are owned, operated, maintained, and certified within Material Management). Supervisory duties will be included in regarding to hiring, performance monitoring and evaluations, assignment changes and schedules, and terminations.
Material Management Supervisor will perform other duties as assigned by Program leadership.
The Material Management Supervisor will be available onsite after the Government’s regular working hours as needed.
QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited four-year college or university or equivalent combination of experience, education and training
Minimums of five years of experience in managing a Department of Defense (DOD) Material Management System
GATES, DSS, and DPS system experience highly preferred
Strong computer and software skills, particularly in Microsoft Office products
Knowledge of BMC Ready preferred
Previous experience in a similar role, highly preferable at a US military or US government installation
Excellent organizational and time management skills
Ability to obtain and maintain a US passport and driver's license throughout employment in this role
Ability to successfully pass PACOM medical requirements and maintain requirements for duration of deployment
Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret US Government Clearance. Note: US Citizenship is required to obtain a Secret Clearance
