Job Opening: 9-1-1 Telecommunicator Join Local First Responders - Jones County Communications Jones County Communications is currently accepting applications for the position of 911 Telecommunicator. As the emergency operations center for all of Jones County, we operate 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, serving as the vital link between the public and police, fire, and medical services. This role is fastpaced, challenging, and highly rewarding, offering the opportunity to make a real difference in your community. Position Overview A 911 Telecommunicator is responsible for receiving and dispatching all emergency and nonemergency calls. You will work closely with law enforcement, fire departments, EMS crews, and the public to ensure the safety and wellbeing of Jones County residents.
