Job Title: Oven Operator
Job Description
As an Oven Operator, you will be responsible for working with ovens and mold building processes. Your primary duties will include heating pipes to specific measurements (45 & 90 degree angles), placing them into metal molds, and securing them. Once molded, you will load them into a dunk tank for final formation. You will also engage in prep work for the oven while items are in the oven and dunk tank. This role requires a self-motivated individual who can assist with tasks during oven cooking and mold processing.
Responsibilities
Operate the oven to heat pipes to specific measurements.
Place heated pipes into metal molds and secure them.
Load molded items into a dunk tank for final formation.
Perform prep work for oven operations.
Assist with tasks during oven and mold processing.
Lift up to 50 lbs with assistance from an overhead crane and team lifts.
Essential Skills
Experience in machine operation and production line work.
General labor skills and mold operating experience.
Ability to multitask and manage tasks simultaneously.
Strong attention to detail.
Excellent communication skills.
Self-starter mentality.
Team player attitude.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
6 months of manufacturing/production experience is strongly preferred.
Ability to lift 50 pounds with team lift and overhead crane assistance.
Steel-toed boots required.

Work Environment
Work in a clean machine shop environment, which may be dirtier than typical shops, but will be hot in the summer. The role involves mostly standing, and you will wear heat-resistant gloves up to the elbow. Choose between two shifts: 1st shift (M-F, 6:30am-3:00pm) or 2nd shift (M-TH, 3:30pm-2:00am).

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Anoka, MN.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $21.00/hr.
