The position has a broad overall coordination responsibility of division wide services for HSEM. Duties include but are not limited to building environment, housekeeping, building safety, space planning, and security access, vehicle fleet management, shipping and receiving services, office equipment, furniture and fixtures. This position will also coordinate the alternate State EOC and the EMTC at Camp Ripley for the division. This position will act as a liaison with the Department of Administration for building management, lease management, contract services and fleet management.
**Employees may telework up to 50% or more, depending on the position and the needs of the division."

Minimum Qualifications
Three (3) years of professional experience in emergency management, public safety, project management or a closely related field
Working knowledge of building systems, access controls, purchasing and fleet management
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills using data to inform decision making and planning
Excellent written communication skills, including drafting reports and purchasing proposals
Strong interpersonal and communications skills with an ability to build and maintain effective relationships across diverse stakeholder groups
*Associate's degree in emergency management or a closely related field may substitute for six (6) months experience and bachelor's degree in emergency management or a closely related field may substitute for one (1) year of experience.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience working in emergency management at an emergency operations center
Familiarity with HSEM programs and stakeholder groups
Knowledge of state procurement systems and fleet services
Physical Requirements
Requires occasionally moving and transporting 50-pound items and frequently moving and transporting objects such as heavy tools and heavy file boxes. This job may require positioning self to move to a significant degree across rough terrain or may involve maintaining a stationary position for extended periods
