Army Tank-Automotive and Armament Command (TACOM) Cashier (Mobile Sales) NF-02 in Anniston Army Depot, Alabama

Summary This position is located at Anniston, Alabama.. Incentives and Bonuses Incentives will not be paid. Responsibilities Receives cash or credit cards in payment for merchandise and gives change as required. Maintains record of sales. At the end of shift, turns in sales records, money, customer checks or charge slip and accounts for all moneys and items sold. Responsible for overall operation of mobile sales truck, performs operator safety checks on vehicle daily, and notifies supervisor of any vehicle malfunction or required service. Inventories canteen daily and assists with monthly inventory. May prepare requisitions for items sold, ensures that proper stock levels are maintained; secures stock at close of business. Cleans counter or serving area. As a Recreation Delivery System (RDS) team member the incumbent may be assign similar work in various facilities depending on demand/programmed activities. May be required to assist operation team with set-up/take-down of equipment and facilities to support market-driven programs and activities. Maintains a pleasant demeanor ensuring a positive customer relationship. Performs other duties as assigned. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Resumes must be two pages (or less). A qualified candidate must possess the following: Experience in inventory control and ability to operate a cash register. Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide at level necessary to complete required reports. Must pass physical examination (ability to lift 50 pounds). Ability to drive one ton truck with manual transmission (one year experience preferred). Must possess valid driver's license. Allowances and Differentials This job is part of a pay-banded system. Sunday premium pay for regularly scheduled employees and night differential pay may be authorized by the Garrison Commander. Non-foreign overseas allowances, cost of living (COLA), and differentials will not be paid, contingent upon eligibility.
