The Role

We are seeking a highly analytical and technically skilled Software Engineer II to join our team. This role is ideal for someone with deep experience in HCM integrations for benefits, interface analysis, and system troubleshooting—particularly within SAP SuccessFactors, SAP Employee Central Payroll, SAP CPI, Helix, and other HR platforms.

As a key contributor, you will support and enhance the connectivity between HR, payroll, benefits, and legal systems through robust interface design and job scheduling. You’ll work closely with internal teams and external vendors to ensure seamless data exchange, system reliability, and compliance.

The Main Responsibilities

Primary Responsibilities

  • HR, Benefits, Payroll & Legal Interface Analyst

  • Investigate and resolve system interface issues with a strong focus on root cause analysis and effective problem-solving

  • Analyze complex data sets and ensure seamless integration across HR, finance, legal, and external vendor systems

  • Collaborate with internal HR teams, external vendors, and cross-functional departments to maintain and enhance system connectivity

  • Translate functional business requests to technical design documents

  • Translate technical program to user testing needs

  • Recommend system enhancements to improve operational efficiency and troubleshoot and resolve interface-related issues to ensure reliable data flow

  • Translate business requirements into technical specifications, including secure transport protocols.

  • Implement and maintain robust data security and confidentiality controls.

  • Maintain integration calendars and monitor job execution daily.

  • Provide ongoing system support and training to internal users.

  • Daily production support troubleshooting

  • Partnership in Benefits Enrollment changes and impact on Payroll and Vendor Integrations

Job Scheduling & Monitoring

Manage and monitor HCM-related job schedules, primarily involving integrations with:

  • SuccessFactors Employee Central

  • Employee Central Payroll

  • S/4

  • Helix

  • External vendors and internal applications

What We Look For in a Candidate

• Expertise in system interface design and data integration methodologies.

• Strong understanding of data structures and database correlations.

• Familiarity with HRIS data structures and business processes (e.g., employee lifecycle, payroll, benefits).

• Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Clear and confident communication abilities, both verbal and written.

Technical skills in:

  • SAP SuccessFactors

  • Employee Central Payroll

  • SAP HCM systems or Other HCM Platform

  • SFTP and file transfer protocols

  • SAP CPI / SAP Integration Suite

  • Success Factors Integration Center

  • Helix

  • Employee benefit plans

  • Team-oriented, adaptable, and self-driven.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in interface analysis or a related role.

• Proven success in managing and delivering technical projects

Compensation

This information reflects the anticipated base salary range for this position based on current national data. Minimums and maximums may vary based on location. Individual pay is based on skills, experience and other relevant factors.

Location Based Pay Ranges

$67,703 - $90,270 in these states: AL AR AZ FL GA IA ID IN KS KY LA ME MO MS MT ND NE NM OH OK PA SC SD TN UT VT WI WV WY

$71,088 - $94,784 in these states: CO HI MI MN NC NH NV OR RI

$74,474 - $99,297 in these states: AK CA CT DC DE IL MA MD NJ NY TX VA WA
