Adecco US, Inc. Quality Control Copyright Auditor in Ann Arbor, Michigan

Project Overview:

The Digitization Services team’s mission is to bring off-line content online through digitization at scale. As part of the Copyright team, the Auditor is responsible for reviewing processed images from global hubs to determine publication years, U.S. origin, and the presence of copyright notices to ensure legal digital distribution licensing.

This is a high-pressure role with minimal room for error, as auditing accuracy directly impacts legal compliance. The ideal candidate is a proactive self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced environment and possesses the acute attention to detail required to differentiate between complex workflows and standards.

Overall Responsibilities:

  • Review a randomized assortment of pages within an internal database with 100% accuracy.

  • Identify publication years and distinguish valid copyright notices from general text.

  • Determine if a book was published within the United States, requiring a strong geographical familiarity with U.S. cities to accurately differentiate them from international locations.

  • Maintain rigorous Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) within the task’s workflow. Execute specialty projects and data management within Google Sheets.

Top Daily Responsibilities:

  • Perform high-stakes audits to maintain operational standards and legal safety.

  • Provide precise data to engineering teams for system feedback and improvement.

  • Consistently meet or exceed the department’s minimum quality and productivity benchmarks under tight deadlines.

Required Skills:

  • Geographical Proficiency: Advanced ability to identify U.S. cities and distinguish them from world cities at a glance.

  • Precision-Oriented: Exceptional attention to detail with a proven track record of maintaining accuracy in high-pressure settings.

  • Technical Literacy: Mastery of Google Workspace (Sheets, Docs, Apps, and Drive). Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills for reporting audit findings.

  • Autonomy: Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while meeting strict quality gates.

  • Professionalism: Ability to interact professionally with the team to achieve collective production goals.

Pay Details: $18.14 per hour
