Aquatec Ponds LLC. pond maintenance technician in Ann Arbor, Michigan
Seeking part-time employees that are available to work 3-5 days per week as needed, depending on weather and customer needs.
Days and hours of work are Monday-Friday from 9:00am to 6:00pm, but you may be asked to work later if unexpected situations arise at job sites.
Starting pay for this position is $17.00 per hour, paid weekly.
Job description is as follows:
Employees must be at the office no later than 9:00am to assist other employees in loading trucks with equipment and preparing for the days work, as well as unloading the trucks at the end of the work day.
Employees must show up to work with a clean appearance each day and expect to get dirty.
Employees will be working in chest waders off and on at each job site and will be cleaning garden/koi ponds, as well as occasionally handling and rowing small boat for fountain work and aquatic weed treatments.
Cleaning a pond consists of running a powerwasher and cleaning rocks, gravel and water features within the pond, removing algae, weeds, leaves and muck in the bottom of the pond.
Using small pumps to remove water and flush pond clear and rinsing rocks with a garden hose.
Employees should show up to work each day with boots and whatever food and drinks they may need for the day, we do not make special stops during the day for lunch.
Employees should carry themselves in a professional manner and represent our company in a positive way.
All new employees will receive proper training, opportunity to learn and are provided with equipment and gear required for the job.
