Job Title: Maintenance Manager Job Description
The Maintenance Manager will lead a team of five Maintenance Technicians and report directly to the Head Engineer. This individual is responsible for overseeing day-to-day maintenance operations, delegating tasks, driving preventative maintenance initiatives, and ensuring equipment reliability across the facility. The ideal candidate brings strong technical knowledge, leadership ability, and experience working with manufacturing machinery and automation systems.
Responsibilities
Oversee daily maintenance operations and delegate tasks effectively.
Drive preventative maintenance initiatives to ensure equipment reliability.
Lead and develop a team of Maintenance Technicians.
Collaborate with the Head Engineer to align maintenance goals.
Ensure all maintenance work is performed safely and in accordance with regulations.
Essential Skills
3+ years of maintenance leadership or supervisory experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
Strong understanding of mechatronics, industrial maintenance, and machine troubleshooting.
Hands-on experience with PLCs, VFDs, automation systems, and mechanical/electrical components.
Familiarity with CMMS platforms (M+ or similar).
Ability to read and interpret technical documents, schematics, and equipment manuals.
Strong communication, organization, and leadership skills.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Knowledge of 3-phase electrical systems, sensors, robotics, or pneumatic/hydraulic systems.
Ability to perform root-cause analysis (RCA) and implement corrective action plans.
Experience developing or leading predictive maintenance programs (vibration analysis, thermal imaging, oil sampling, etc.).
Background in food/beverage, canning, or high-throughput production management experience (parts ordering, contractor coordination).
Ability to train technicians on technical skills and proper troubleshooting methods.
Strong data-driven mindset with the ability to analyze maintenance trends and machine performance.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office or digital reporting tools.

Work Environment
The work schedule is Monday through Friday from 8 am to 4 pm and Saturdays from 7 am to 1 pm. The environment is fast-paced and high-volume, with steady workloads and frequent overtime opportunities. The pay range for this position is $100000.00 - $110000.00/yr.
