Angola, NY. CNC Router Operator. CNC Router Operator. FT. Temp. $20.00- $25.00/Hour.
The CNC Router Operator is responsible for setting up and operating CNC routing equipment to machine plastic and composite parts. This role supports the manufacturing and machine shop teams and requires strong mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and a commitment to quality and safety in a production environment.
Key Responsibilities: Set up and operate CNC routers to machine plastic and composite materials. Read and interpret blueprints, job orders, and technical drawings. Select, install, and secure cutting tools and properly position workpieces. Adjust and edit feeds, speeds, and depth of cut as required. Monitor machine operations and inspect finished parts to ensure specifications are met. Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area.
Requirements: Prior CNC operating experience required. High School Diploma or GED. Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical documentation. Forklift certification or willingness to obtain; CNC certification a plus. Ability to lift up to 75 lbs and work in a warehouse/machine shop environment. Strong work ethic and attention to detail.
