Position Overview: We are seeking a passionate, dedicated, and New York State Certified Elementary Education Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess strong instructional expertise, exceptional classroom management skills, and a commitment to supporting the academic, social, and emotional development of all students.
Key Responsibilities:
Design and implement district curriculum aligned with NYS learning standards.
Provide a safe, structured, and supportive classroom environment for all students.
Collaborate with related service providers, special education teachers, and support staff to deliver cohesive instruction and services.
Maintain accurate and timely student records, progress reports, and data collection.
Use evidence-based practices to manage behaviors and support students' emotional regulation and social development.
Communicate effectively with families, administrators, and interdisciplinary team members.
Participate in professional development and school-wide initiatives.
Qualifications:
Valid New York State Teaching Certification
Bachelor's or Master's degree
Demonstrated ability to implement effective instructional strategies and behavioral supports.
Strong organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills.
Compensation & Benefits:
Starting at $49,892, commensurate with experience.
