Full Time Security Officer
Location: Andover, MA
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 7am-3pm
Pay Rate: $20.00/hour
Securitas Security Services is seeking a reliable and professional Full-Time Security Officer to ensure the safety and security of our corporate facility, employees, and visitors. The ideal candidate will maintain a visible presence, enforce company policies, and respond effectively to incidents while delivering excellent customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
Monitor and patrol assigned areas of the corporate site on foot and/or via surveillance systems
Control access to the facility by verifying identification and issuing visitor badges
Respond promptly to alarms, emergencies, and incidents, including medical situations
Conduct routine security checks of doors, windows, and restricted areas
Write clear and detailed incident reports and daily activity logs
Provide customer service by assisting employees, guests, and vendors in a professional manner
Enforce company policies, procedures, and safety regulations
Coordinate with local law enforcement or emergency responders when necessary
Report hazards, suspicious activities, or security breaches immediately
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent required
Prior experience in security, reception, or customer service preferred
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to remain calm and professional in high-pressure situations
Basic computer proficiency (Microsoft Office, access control systems, CCTV monitoring software)
Strong observational skills and attention to detail
Reliable and punctual with a strong sense of responsibility
Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays
