Aerotek Calibration Technician in Andover, Massachusetts

Job Title: Calibration Technician Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated individual to join our team as a Calibration Technician. You will be responsible for the calibration, testing, and validating of handheld analytic testing devices. These portable analytical devices are capable of identifying any compound, mineral, or element in any location. Ideal candidates will thrive in a fast-paced, high-tech manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

  • Calibrate, test, and validate handheld analytic testing devices.

  • Troubleshoot and repair test equipment and instrumentation.

  • Participate in quality control processes and ensure adherence to production standards.

  • Collaborate with a team, including 2 assembly technicians, on shift work.

Essential Skills

  • Proficiency in troubleshooting and test equipment usage.

  • Experience in calibration, instrumentation, and validation.

  • Strong mechanical ability and experience in assembly and quality control.

  • Familiarity with hand tools and electronics.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Experience in testing and validation processes.

  • Basic knowledge of Excel.

Work Environment

Work in a clean manufacturing environment where you will have your own workstation but will also collaborate in a group setting. The schedule includes orientation on the 1st shift before transitioning to the 2nd shift from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, Monday through Friday.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Andover, MA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $27.00/hr.
