Butler Community College Grounds Technician in Andover, Kansas

The Grounds Technician is assigned to maintain the Butler grounds, roads, and walkways at the Andover campus locations. This position will also help move furniture and supplies; transport materials between off-campus sites, and set-up for special events. Sometimes assignments will require working in extreme conditions.
A. Ability to maintain a good working relationship.\ B. Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.\ C. Ability to work alone.\ D. Ability to maintain a neat and clean appearance and take pride in workmanship.\ E. Knowledge of horticulture, carpentry, and general maintenance with a mechanical aptitude.\ F. Willingness to work overtime as required.\ G. Must be in good physical health and able to lift 50 lbs. without limitations.\ H. Must possess a valid Kansas Drivers license.\ I. Must have basic general computer skills.
Prior experience working in lawn care, or similar, is preferred.
