Salary: $118,129.00 - $159,821.00 per year

How you’ll make an impact in this role

  • Market level oversight for infection control across 18 hospitals, including crisis management and standardization of processes.

  • Validate data, analyze reports, and maintain timely communication via email.

  • Ensure team competency and stay current with market and national developments in infection control.

  • Guide and manage the infection control team.

  • Round at various hospitals and escalate critical needs to senior leadership.

What minimum requirements you’ll need

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

  • Certification specializing in Infection Control credentialed from the Certification Board of Infection Control and Epidemiology, Inc. (CBIC) obtained within 12 Months (1 year) of hire date or job transfer date required.

  • Registered Nurse credentialed from the Indiana Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.

Education:

  • High School diploma equivalency with 5 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required, with 2 of those years being in leadership/management OR Associate's degree/Bachelor's degree with 3 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required, with 2 of those years being in leadership/management.

What additional preferences we're seeking

  • Registered Nurse obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date

  • Master's degree

  • CIC certification

  • 5+ years acute care hospital infection prevention experience

  • 2+ years of acute care infection prevention management experience

  • Experience leading and managing staff, presenting to hospital executive teams, facilitating meetings, and writing policies, procedures, and protocols
