You will be based in our Anderson, SC location. This shift will start at 6:00 am and end at 2:30 pm. Please be advised that we are unable to offer visa sponsorship for this position at this time.
Your main tasks:
Provide support throughout the Door Fabrication department with the goal of producing the highest-quality products on time that meet or exceed customer expectations.
Assists supervisor in training associates, follow-up on quality related issues. Assists with changeovers and scrap recovery/documentation.
Team Member should be able to perform all job responsibilities within their work area to assist/backfill as the result of absenteeism and/or unscheduled break.
Qualifications:
Must have good command of the English language; be able to communicate clearly and concisely, read and interpret JDS and instructional materials.
Must have good basic math skills. Able to identify and record scrap in a timely accurate manner.
Able to perform all jobs within assigned area. Able to perform all tasks in assigned work area.
Able to use tools necessary to perform position. Able to bend, stoop, grip, reach, and lift 40 pounds repetitively.
Able to stand for most of the shift.
Must be in Good Standing (3.50 Attendance points or less and no written warning corrective actions in place).
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
Should be able to team lift any package greater than 35 lbs. but less than 71lbs.
Should be able to handle repetitive twisting, lifting, pulling, pushing, reaching, and bending.
Must be able to spend long periods of time on your feet.
