HCA Healthcare Executive Admin Assistant in Anchorage, Alaska

Job Summary and Qualifications

As the Executive Administrative Assistant, you will use your impeccable customer service skills to assist leadership as they provide oversight of the day-to-day functions in the hospital. Our team supports each other like family, and we are looking for someone who feels patient care is as meaningful as we do. In this role:

  • Develops and maintains databases for all hospital contracts. Database to be updated continually as new contracts/agreements are initiated and renewed.

  • Manage the Directors and Manager’s offices to include maintaining filing systems and performing a wide variety of clerical/secretarial duties.

  • Coordinate appointment calendars for senior leaders.

  • Monitor the contract database monthly to see what contracts are coming due and when. Make an appropriate administrator aware of contract expiration dates and wait for directions as to whether the contract is to be renewed, revised or terminated.

  • Oversee proper medical and office supply ordering by each department designer.

  • Ensure updated forms/orders are available for each unit.

  • Work with the hospital materials management department to ensure proper supply processing.

  • Maintain and sustain professional ethics and promote patient’s bill of rights.

  • Organizes and completes work in a timely and professional manner

What qualifications you will need:

  • Basic Knowledge of Medical Terminology preferred.

  • Three years of experience in a hospital setting preferred.

  • Associate’s degree preferred
