Summary
It is the responsibility of the Supervisor Electrical Ops to supervise all functions and training of electrical services branch personnel at the branch level. Organize and conduct audits, ensuring a professional, efficient, and friendly environment. Professionally interacts with customers, team members, and third-party vendor/partner representatives to provide the highest level of service excellence.
Promote and maintain a strong safety culture by ensuring compliance with all safety policies and regulations, holding self and team accountable, actively communicating safety expectations, and supporting continuous improvement in safety practices.
This position will support our Event & Exhibit Services team. The position follows an in-person schedule working full-time in-office and/or show-site based out of Anaheim, CA.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Interview and hire electrical services personnel. Provides hands-on, coaching and training of department personnel.
Schedule personnel as required for both office and show site.
Delegate job assignments according to job descriptions and workloads.
Ensure procedure, company policies and guidelines are followed.
Manage department overtime and direct labor costs, tracking office staff and show site. labor hours, providing reports as requested for use in tracking current costs and planning of future, similar events.
Assist branch and department personnel producing events where requested, processing electric orders, work ticket, and general show production as necessary.
Oversee scheduling and ordering equipment for office and show site.
Determine office and labor desk material needs and place orders well in advance.
Ensure adherence to processes and procedures that directly relate to the position.
Process electric orders and ensures work meets expectations.
Encourage, solicit and review suggestions for improving current procedures.
Monitor and enforces good daily housekeeping of the office and show site.
Monitor and enforces all safety rules as outlined in our Safety Procedures maintaining a secure and safe working environment at all times.
Review and distributes all electrical department production paperwork.
Assure all completed production paperwork is submitted in a timely manner to the Account Executive for billing.
Routinely supervise clerical aspects of jobs in order to know how well the electrical department is functioning.
Periodically check all job site labor desks for quality of work, efficiency and safety.
Uphold external customer service standards.
Communicate and reinforce company safety objectives, programs, and policies within the team. Ensure employees complete required training and understand their safety responsibilities.
Maintain compliance with company safety policies and applicable OSHA regulations.
Investigate and document workplace accidents, near misses, and hazards promptly, and implement corrective actions as needed.
Lead by example by encouraging open communication on safety concerns and fostering accountability for maintaining a safe work environment.
Track and review safety performance metrics, using insights to support decision-making and corrective actions.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Education & Experience
High School diploma or GED required.
Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year College or university, and/or three to five years related experience and/or on-the-job training (relative to the position); or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Working knowledge of workplace safety practices and applicable OSHA requirements.
Demonstrated ability to apply and uphold safety policies, ensure compliance with regulations, and contribute to a proactive safety culture that reduces incidents and improves safety outcomes.
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations
OSHA 30 Certification required.

Hiring range of $72,300 - $77,000 based upon experience. This position also qualifies for an Annual Incentive Bonus (AIP)
