Description
Robert Half is seeking a skilled Senior Accountant to join our client in Anacortes on a contract assignment. As a Senior Accountant, you’ll play a key role in managing complex accounting operations and supporting financial leadership.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead month-end and year-end closing activities
Prepare and review financial statements, reconciliations, and reports
Analyze revenue, expenditures, and variances for management
Assist in audit preparation and ensure compliance with accounting standards
Mentor junior staff and contribute to process improvements
Requirements
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA or progress toward a CPA preferred
3+ years of increasingly responsible accounting experience
Strong technical knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting
Advanced Excel and ERP system skills
Detail-oriented, proactive, and able to manage multiple priorities
