Trident Seafoods Corporation HR MANAGER in Anacortes, Washington
Essential Functions: (Responsibilities, Tasks, Supervisory Needs)
- Serve as a trusted business partner to the Plant Manager and leadership team, providing HR guidance aligned with operational priorities and workforce needs
- Lead employee relations activities, including investigations, coaching, corrective action, and conflict resolution, ensuring fair, consistent, and compliant outcomes
- Support talent management processes including hiring, onboarding, workforce planning, succession planning, and development of frontline leaders
- Drive performance management processes, including goal setting, feedback, coaching, performance improvement plans, and yearend reviews
- Ensure accurate timekeeping, attendance tracking, and leave administration in compliance with all applicable labor and employment laws, and company policies.
- Partner with operations to determine workforce needs based on production demands.
- Manage employee engagement initiatives, retention strategies, and communications to support morale and workforce stability
- Collaborate with Talent Acquisition, Total Rewards, and HR Operations partners to ensure efficient recruitment, compensation, and HR systems (e.g., Dayforce, Anaplan as applicable)
- Utilize workforce and people data to inform decisionmaking and support datadriven discussions with plant and HR leadership
Participate in change management efforts related to business transformations, policy changes, or organizational shifts
This is a salaried nonexempt position with a range of $82,000 to $115,000 per year.
