Trident Seafoods Corporation HR MANAGER in Anacortes, Washington

Essential Functions: (Responsibilities, Tasks, Supervisory Needs) 

  • Serve as a trusted business partner to the Plant Manager and leadership team, providing HR guidance aligned with operational priorities and workforce needs 
  • Lead employee relations activities, including investigations, coaching, corrective action, and conflict resolution, ensuring fair, consistent, and compliant outcomes 
  • Support talent management processes including hiring, onboarding, workforce planning, succession planning, and development of frontline leaders 
  • Drive performance management processes, including goal setting, feedback, coaching, performance improvement plans, and yearend reviews 
  • Ensure accurate timekeeping, attendance tracking, and leave administration in compliance with all applicable labor and employment laws, and company policies. 
  • Partner with operations to determine workforce needs based on production demands. 
  • Manage employee engagement initiatives, retention strategies, and communications to support morale and workforce stability 
  • Collaborate with Talent Acquisition, Total Rewards, and HR Operations partners to ensure efficient recruitment, compensation, and HR systems (e.g., Dayforce, Anaplan as applicable) 
  • Utilize workforce and people data to inform decisionmaking and support datadriven discussions with plant and HR leadership 
  • Participate in change management efforts related to business transformations, policy changes, or organizational shifts 

     

This is a salaried nonexempt position with a range of $82,000 to $115,000 per year.
