Job Title: Painter
Job Description
Join our team as a Painter, where you will be responsible for paint preparation and painting vehicle bodies, assemblies, and parts. This role involves performing spray-booth painting on a wide range of assemblies, mixing and applying primers and paints, and maintaining paint equipment, spray booths, and air systems.
Responsibilities
Conduct all surface preparation, including body filling, glazing, sanding, scuffing, and cleaning.
Set up, adjust, and operate automatic spray equipment and bake cycles while ensuring coating thickness meets specifications.
Interpret and follow prints, sketches, instructions, procedures, and applicable military/commercial specifications.
Communicate effectively with Project Managers, Engineering, Operations, and other departments throughout production.
Maintain a safe work environment and follow all safety protocols.
Maintain punctuality for work, meetings, and all scheduled activities.
Essential Skills
1 year of painting experience.
Ability to read a measuring tape down to 1/16 inch.
Knowledge of paint, painting materials, and characteristics.
Ability to use tools in an elevated position, above head.
Must have the ability to grasp and maintain grip for long periods of time with power tools, such as paint guns and air nozzles.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Experience with industrial painting, paint prep, and auto body production.
Proficiency in using a spray gun in a paint booth.

Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Anaconda, MT.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $23.00/hr.
