American Tower Manager Business Intelligence, Europe in Amsterdam, Netherlands
The Mgr Business Intelligence, Europe is responsible for ensuring that the managers of American Tower Corporation’s (ATC) European businesses have the information they need to make decisions that maximize ATC Europe’s revenue, EBITDA, AFFO, ROIC, and Organic Tenant Billings Growth (OTBG). In close coordination with the Business Intelligence team LatAm, the incumbent will lead efforts to gather, organize, analyze, and interpret the Company’s existing data as well as third-party data to support OTBG – developing ATC Europe’s ability to understand our customers’ needs and to provide solutions to maximize OTBG. The role also involves defining strategies and implementing data analytic tools and processes to help drive business performance for ATC across Europe in a systematic and more automated way.
Bachelor’s degree in engineering, finance, analytics, business, or a related field.
Master’s degree in data analytics, business, or related fields is preferred.
10+ years of experience in data analytics, preferably within the telecommunications or real estate industries, with a focus on TowerCo business.
Expertise in Telecom Radio Planning, including Radio Planning tools used by Mobile Network Operators.
Approximately 10% travel within country may be required in support of the position’s responsibilities.
General:
Establish and implement ATC Europe’s sales intelligence strategy to drive OTBG.
Oversee the sales intelligence unit of ATC Europe, coordinating all interactions with BI team LatAm who support in driving the sales intelligence strategy.
Build, maintain, store, and ensure the accuracy of robust, market-leading databases of ATC, customer, network, and market data, procuring third-party data where needed and ensuring accessibility and user-friendliness for non-technical stakeholders in close coordination with Business Enablement to avoid duplicated efforts.
Provide actionable analysis of ATC Europe’s data.
Present key data and insights to ATC management in a manner that is easy to understand for non-technical professionals – using data visualization tools where appropriate.
Helps augment customer network planning and provide ATC a competitive advantage.
Develops tools that support the Sales teams and General Managers’ efforts to drive demand for our assets.
Partner with IT and Business Intelligence LatAm professionals to procure and manage tools and resources for data analysis, ensuring accessibility and user-friendliness for non-technical stakeholders.
Network Intelligence:
Develop the tools and insights needed for our customers to rely on ATC’s recommendations to make network design decisions.
Work with our customers and sales teams to drive collocations on ATC’s assets.
Assist in recommend optimal locations for ATC to build new assets.
Track our customers’ network behavior to understand trends and performance, including, but not limited to, how they are sharing their spectrum and equipment with third parties.
Market Intelligence:
Provide ongoing intelligence on the markets in which ATC operates, as well as insights into customers and competitors across Europe, particularly in the telecommunications and TowerCo sectors.
Provide management with greater visibility into customer activity and spending patterns, including customer interactions with competitors and alternative solutions.
Offer data-driven insights and strategies for how ATC can secure more new business and maintain existing business.
Assist ATC in optimizing pricing decisions, using analytics to understand factors such as total cost of ownership, customer willingness to pay, and competitor offerings.
Keep management informed about key technology and market trends that impact the business. Develop strategic recommendations on how the Company should address these trends in the TowerCo industry.
Other Duties:
