We are currently recruiting for an HR Process & Risk Lead in MUFG Bank Europe within our Human Resources Department in Amsterdam

The MBE subsidiary based in The Netherlands is a network of branches (Germany Branch (Dusseldorf, Hamburg, Frankfurt, Munich), Spain Branch (Madrid, Barcelona), Belgium Branch (Brussels), Austria Branch (Vienna)), managed from Amsterdam.

Reporting to Head of Human Resources EU and Regional Head of HR Shared Services EMEA

The role includes the following:

Essential Functions*:

Specifically, you will be accountable and responsible for taking appropriate action with respect to the Company’s HR Department, including:

HR Risk Management:

  • Act as the risk champion for HR across MBE, partnering with 1st and 2nd line of Defense teams to identify HR risks, strengthen controls and deliver mitigating actions

  • Support the Head of HR in oversight and reporting of HR controls execution and reporting

  • Ensure timely and accurate risk events and issues reporting to senior management and 1st/2nd line of Defense

  • Responsible for overseeing enhancements resulting from internal or external audit findings, supporting the Head of HR with ensuring HR delivery and liaison with Internal Audit

  • Support HR with Data Privacy Impact Assessment (DPIA) requirements, in partnership with the Data Protection Officer

  • Lead on regulatory horizon scanning and coordination across the MBE HR team, supporting Head of HR with team execution

HR Vendor Management:

  • Responsible for partnering with the Procurement function to ensure HR vendors compliance with internal and external regulations

  • Responsible for the outsourcing and Third-Party Risk Management process within HR, in partnership with the Resilience team

HR Project Support:

  • Responsible for supporting HR Operations change requirements from a risk controls perspective, including processes and Workday, for enterprise and HR projects by working through the HRSS team and relevant stakeholders

Team leadership:

  • Develop and manage a team of one to two Analysts

  • Be an ambassador for the 'One MUFG' vision and bring it to life in EMEA HR

In order to be successful in the role, you will need the following:

Skills and experience:

  • Experience in managing a team within a shared services environment, preferably within financial services or another regulated sector.

  • Experience working in an international matrix organization, managing teams and stakeholders indifferent locations.

  • Demonstrated ability to lead structured continuous improvement programsleveragingLean/Si Sigma principles tooptimizeprocesses and reduce risks

  • Strong stakeholder management skills,demonstratedability toestablishand utilize a network of effective relationships within a global setting

  • Demonstrated risk management skills

  • Demonstratinga high levelof literacy and numeracy sufficient to undertake complex letter writing and reports, statistical analysis of performancedataand complex calculations.

  • Being results driven, witha strong senseof accountability whilst comfortable making decisionsdemonstratingthe abilityof havingsound judgement.

  • Managing conflicting priorities and re-prioritize work accordingly.

  • Managing large workloads and tight deadlines andmaintaininga calm approach, with the ability to perform well in a pressurized environment.

  • Fluent in English

  • Experience with Workday
