? About the Role
Join a global leader in advanced dental technology as a Repair Associate supporting a modern testing and repair facility. This entry level role offers competitive pay, full training, and daily hands on experience working with dental furnaces and electronic devices used worldwide. You will assist technicians, help with testing and repairs, and learn valuable technical skills in a clean, organized, state of the art environment.
? Responsibilities
Support Repair Technicians with troubleshooting and repairs of dental furnaces and electronic devices.
Test curing lights, including battery performance and functionality checks.
Handle shipping and receiving tasks for incoming and outgoing repairs.
Maintain documentation, logs, and repair records.
Perform hands on testing and follow structured repair procedures.
Use basic hand tools for equipment disassembly, cleaning, and reassembly.
Participate in morning safety and KPI meetings.
Work on project based tasks lasting from several days to a week or more.
⚙️ Essential Skills
Strong mechanical curiosity and interest in repair or troubleshooting.
Comfort using basic hand tools.
Ability to handle and test electronic devices.
Attention to detail for paperwork and documentation.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally.
Reliable, organized, and eager to learn technical skills.
? Additional Qualifications
Manufacturing experience helpful but not required.
Basic understanding of shipping and receiving is a plus.
Willingness to ask questions and investigate root cause issues.
Ability to balance multiple tasks across shipping, testing, and repair support.
Comfortable learning computer based documentation.

? Work Environment
You will work inside a dedicated testing and repair facility with clean workstations, structured processes, and daily guidance from the Repair Manager. The role involves hands on repairs, light logistics, and working both independently and as part of a collaborative technical team.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Amherst, NY.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $23.00/hr.
