Quality Assurance Technician | American Fork,UT

Responsibilities

• Conduct quality assurance audits on production processes to ensure compliance with company standards and regulatory requirements
• Perform tests and inspections on raw ingredients,in-process items,and finished products to verify quality and safety
• Identify,evaluate,and resolve minor to major quality issues within the facility,taking corrective actions as necessary
• Document and report findings from inspections,audits,and testing,providing actionable recommendations to management
• Train production personnel on food safety,quality control,sanitation,and proper handling procedures
• Collaborate with management and cross-functional teams to resolve quality,production,and efficiency issues
• Ensure adherence to GMP,SQF,and company food safety,quality,and sanitation policies
• Maintain a safe work environment,following all EHS&S protocols,lockout/tagout procedures,and PPE requirements

Qualifications

• 0 2+ years of experience in quality control,laboratory,or food production environment
• Knowledge of food safety,sanitation,and quality standards (GMP,SQF,HACCP preferred)
• Strong attention to detail and ability to identify product or process deviations
• Effective verbal and written communication skills for coordinating with teams,management,and other departments
• Ability to perform routine testing and document results accurately
• Physically capable of standing,walking,lifting up to 50 lbs,and performing repetitive tasks in a production environment
• Willingness to follow safety protocols,including PPE use,proper lifting,bending,and ergonomic practices

Pay

$20.00 per hour

Schedule

Full Time | Monday Friday | 2:00 PM 10:30 PM
