CDL Spud Driver Job Description
Compensation: \$50,000 - \$80,000 annually Job Type: Full-time, year round
Duties:
- Drive assigned routes, ensuring timely delivery of agricultural products.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and safety regulations while driving.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to confirm operational condition.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, and fuel usage.
- Communicate with dispatchers to coordinate delivery schedules and address any issues.
Skills:
- Valid commercial driver\'s license (CDL) with appropriate truck-specific endorsements.
- Current DOT Physical.
- 1 year experience as a truck driver or in a similar role.
- Proficient driving skills and a clean driving record.
- Effective communication and customer service abilities.
- Capable of working independently and following instructions precisely.
- Physical stamina to manage long driving hours and loading/unloading tasks.
