Job Title: Sanitation Specialist
Job Description
Join our team as a Sanitation Specialist, where you will play a vital role in maintaining cleanliness and hygiene across our production facility. You will work from Monday to Friday, 1:30 PM to 10:00 PM, with potential movement to the third shift. Your responsibilities include cleaning and sanitizing production floors, equipment, offices, break rooms, and bathrooms while adhering to GMP and food safety standards.
Responsibilities
Follow the daily master cleaning plan and adhere to GMP and food safety standards.
Sweep, mop, scrub, vacuum, and wipe down surfaces using appropriate tools and solutions.
Remove trash and clean spills throughout the facility.
Communicate shift updates and incomplete tasks during shift change.
Work in hot environments and around strong odors.
Support other departments as needed and follow all safety protocols.
Perform physical tasks including crouching, bending, climbing, and standing for long periods.
Essential Skills
2+ years of janitorial or sanitation experience, preferably in food manufacturing.
High school diploma or GED.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in noisy environments.
Detail-oriented and self-motivated.
Willingness to work overtime and in a team-based environment.
Compliance with hygiene rules (no jewelry, fake nails/lashes, heavy scents).
Spanish language proficiency is a plus.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Knowledge of GMP compliance and HACCP.
Experience with industrial cleaning and equipment sanitation.
Physical stamina for a fast-paced environment.
Bilingual (Spanish) is advantageous.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $22.00/hr.
