Description

Act as a trusted Business Management partner to the KC-30A program, delivering high‑quality financial insight and advisory support to enable confident decision‑making and stronger business outcomes. You will play a central role in coordinating across multiple functional teams, providing clear and timely internal and external reporting, and analysing financial drivers within the accounting system. By translating financial results into meaningful insights, the role helps improve processes, controls, and overall performance. As a senior team member, the position also provides technical leadership, coaching, and mentorship to develop capability across the team. You will:

  • Own day‑to‑day financial management for the program, including P&L oversight, cash management, forecasting, reporting and variance analysis

  • Partner with Program and Business Leaders

  • Ensure accurate cost forecasting

  • Provide financial modelling, business case development and feasibility analysis

About you:

The ideal candidate combines strong technical finance capability with commercial mindset, relationship skills, resilience, and continuous improvement drive. Success in this role depends on being equally comfortable in the detail of financial data and in strategic conversations with senior stakeholders. To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A strong financial and analytical capability, including P&L management, forecasting, variance analysis, cash flow and balance sheet reporting

  • Possess trusted business partnering skills, with the ability to provide proactive, insight‑driven financial advice to operational and program leadership

  • Excellent stakeholder management, able to build effective relationships and influence across operations, maintenance, supply chain, and finance teams

  • The ability to provide clear and confident communication, translating complex financial information into actionable insights for non‑finance stakeholders

  • Have a high attention to detail and quality focus, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timeliness of all financial data and reporting

  • Experience in delivery resilience and adaptability, thriving in a fast‑paced environment with competing priorities and frequent change

  • A continuous improvement mindset, actively enhancing processes, systems, controls, and ways of working, while mentoring junior team members
