Paralegal
Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Paralegal to support attorneys by conducting legal research, preparing documents, and managing case files. The ideal candidate is proactive, highly organized, and comfortable working in a fast-paced legal environment.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct legal research and summarize findings for attorneys
Draft and prepare legal documents, including pleadings, motions, contracts, and correspondence
File legal documents with courts and ensure compliance with filing deadlines
Organize and maintain case files, both physical and electronic
Assist with trial preparation, hearings, and depositions
Communicate with clients, courts, opposing counsel, and other parties as needed
Manage calendars, deadlines, and case tracking systems
Review and organize discovery materials
Perform administrative and clerical tasks to support legal operations
Qualifications
Previous of 5+ years of paralegal experince
Strong knowledge of legal terminology, procedures, and court rules
Proficiency with legal research tools and Microsoft Office
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
Preferred Skills
Familiarity with case management software
Notary public (optional)
