Pay Rate: $19.00 hour
Join a Customer-Focused Energy Efficiency Program
We are hiring Field Service Specialist to support a residential energy efficiency program in partnership with a local electric utility serving neighborhoods throughout Florida. This role involves installing energy-saving products in customers’ homes, educating residents on reducing energy usage, and identifying opportunities for additional no cost services.
Key Responsibilities
Install energy efficient products in residential homes, including:
LED light bulbs
Low flow aerators & showerheads
Pipe insulation
Hot water tank insulation jackets
Foam sealants and similar measures
Educating customers on reducing energy usage and saving money
Accurately document all installation measures in required systems
Report on quality results for Field Supervisor
Identify and report safety issues
Safely drive work trucks/box vans to and from customer locations, hotels, and the office
Participate in neighborhood kickoff events
Travel across Florida (60% travel; vehicle provided during travel)
What We’re Looking For
Background in any of the following is a plus:
Sales or customer service
Cable/satellite installation
Alarm installation
HVAC
Construction
Energy efficiency
Ability to work effectively with a partner and with minimal supervision
Willingness and availability to travel overnight during the week
Strong customer service skills
Excellent communication (verbal & written)
Detail oriented and highly reliable
Safety minded with a strong sense of responsibility
Ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Spanish-speaking ability is a plus but not required
Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent preferred (not required)
Valid driver’s license
Must pass:
Pre employment MVR
Ongoing MVR checks every 6 months
Background check
Drug screening (DOT compliant)
Ability to use hand tools (requiring up to 30 lbs. upper body force)
Comfortable working indoors and outdoors for up to 10 hours/day
Ability to walk, climb, stoop, and perform physical tasks

Pay Details: $19.00 per hour
