ManpowerGroup Forklift operator in Altamont, New York

Our client a beverage distribution company locate in Altamont is currently seeking a dependable and safety-focused Forklift / Reach Truck Operator to join our warehouse team.

Position Overview

The Forklift / Reach Truck Operator is responsible for safely operating powered industrial trucks to move, locate, stack, and count products within the warehouse. This role plays a key part in ensuring accurate order fulfillment and efficient warehouse operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operate sit-down forklifts and reach trucks to move product throughout the warehouse

  • Load and unload trucks safely and efficiently

  • Pick, stage, and prepare orders for shipment

  • Accurately scan and track inventory using warehouse systems

  • Stack and store pallets in racking systems

  • Perform daily equipment inspections and report any issues

  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment

  • Follow all company safety policies and OSHA guidelines

  • Assist with general warehouse duties as needed

Qualifications

  • Prior forklift and/or reach truck experience preferred

  • Ability to operate warehouse equipment safely and efficiently

  • Experience in a warehouse or distribution environment is a plus

  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work on your feet for extended periods

  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

  • Reliable attendance and punctuality

Schedule

  • 1st Shift (Day Shift)

  • Monday–Friday (occasional overtime as needed)

Pay Range: $23.00
