Machine Operator

Job Overview

We’re hiring a Machine Operator to join a growing manufacturing team producing seating and related components. What You’ll Be Doing

• Operate and monitor production machines to keep operations running smoothly

• Set up machines, make basic adjustments, and perform routine inspections

• Produce high‑quality parts by following work instructions and quality standards

• Read tape measures and blueprints to ensure accurate production

• Work with sheet metal and other manufacturing materials

• Maintain a clean, safe work area

• Support daily production goals and continuous improvement initiatives

What We’re Looking For

• At least 1 year of machine operating experience (manufacturing or production environment)

• At least 1 year of machine setup experience

• Ability to read a tape measure and basic blueprints

• Comfortable working with sheet metal and production machinery

• Strong attention to detail and reliable attendance

• Team‑oriented mindset with a willingness to learn

Nice to Have (But Not Required)

• Experience with punch presses or similar equipment

• Additional production or general labor experience

• Experience working in lean or continuous improvement environments

Schedule & Work Environment

• 1st shift position

• Start times as early as 5:30 AM or 6:30 AM

Job Type & Location

This is a Permanent position based out of Altamont, IL.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $17.31 - $18.50/hr.
