Job Title: Machine Operator
Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Machine Operator who excels in operating machinery with precision and efficiency. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail and the ability to maintain high-quality standards while meeting production quotas.
Responsibilities
Read tape measures using 1/16" and 1/32" increments.
Operate various machinery including CNC Machines
Utilize small power tools such as drills, electric screwdrivers, and staple guns for assembly tasks.
Perform basic arithmetic operations including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division using whole numbers, fractions, and decimals.
Lift up to 50 lbs as needed.
Essential Skills
2+ years of experience as a machine operator.
Proficiency in reading a tape measure.
Experience with blueprint reading and sheet metal production.
Skill in quality inspection and the use of hand and power tools.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- High school diploma, GED, or 3 months of related experience and/or training.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Altamont, IL.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $17.31 - $18.50/hr.
