Description We are looking for an experienced Technical Accounting Manager to join our team in Alpharetta, Georgia. In this role, you will oversee key accounting processes, ensuring accuracy and compliance with financial standards. This is a long-term contract position, offering an excellent opportunity to contribute to a dynamic environment within the asset management industry.
Responsibilities:
• Manage monthly and year-end close processes, ensuring timely and accurate reporting.
• Oversee general ledger activities and maintain proper account reconciliations.
• Coordinate and support financial statement audits, providing necessary documentation and analysis.
• Prepare and review journal entries to ensure compliance with accounting standards.
• Utilize Sage Intacct to streamline accounting operations and generate reports.
• Monitor and analyze financial data to identify discrepancies and recommend solutions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support organizational objectives.
• Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements and accounting policies.
• Develop and implement best practices to improve efficiency in accounting processes. Requirements • Extensive experience with month-end close and general ledger processes.
• Proficiency in financial statement audits and account reconciliations.
• Strong knowledge of preparing and reviewing journal entries.
• Hands-on experience with Sage Intacct and Microsoft Excel.
• Ability to analyze and interpret complex financial data.
• Familiarity with regulatory standards and compliance requirements in accounting.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
