Description

We are seeking a motivated, detail-oriented candidate to join our team in Alpharetta, Georgia as a Sales Support Specialist, with the clear intention of developing into a Sales Representative. This contract-to-permanent role is designed as a career pathway—starting in sales support, where you’ll assist the sales team with administrative work, client communication, and project follow-ups, while gaining hands-on exposure to the sales process. As you build product knowledge and sales readiness, you’ll transition into a full Sales Representative role.

Responsibilities:

• Provide administrative support to the sales team, ensuring smooth operations and timely completion of tasks.

• Manage client communications, including responding to inquiries, following up on projects, providing quotes, and maintaining strong relationships.

• Assist in the preparation of sales quotes and proposals, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.

• Utilize CRM tools, such as Salesforce, to track sales activities, update records, and monitor the sales pipeline.

• Coordinate with internal teams to ensure seamless order entry and post-sales support.

• Conduct outbound and inbound sales calls to gather client requirements and promote company services.

• Maintain proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite tools, including Word, Excel, and Outlook, to produce reports and manage documentation.

• Support the sales team in achieving annual sales goals and business objectives.

• Collaborate with team members to identify opportunities for process improvement and enhance sales operations.

• Ensure reliable transportation for on-site client meetings or team collaboration as needed.

Requirements • Strong computer literacy, with proficiency in Salesforce (preferred but not required) and Microsoft Office Suite.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills to interact effectively with clients and team members.

• Ability to stay level-headed and detail oriented in high-pressure situations.

• Prior experience in sales support, post-sales support, or inside sales is an advantage.

• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

• Reliable transportation for commuting to the office or client meetings.

• Familiarity with CRM tools and sales pipeline management.
