Robert Half Project Manager - Mergers & Acquisition in Alpharetta, Georgia
Description We are looking for an experienced Project Manager with expertise in Mergers & Acquisitions (M& A) to join our team on a long-term contract basis in Alpharetta, Georgia. In this role, you will oversee complex financial projects, ensuring seamless execution and alignment with organizational goals. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to high-impact initiatives within the asset management industry.
Responsibilities:
• Lead and manage M& A projects, ensuring smooth transitions and successful integration of acquired entities.
• Oversee the consolidation and reporting of balance sheets, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
• Conduct comprehensive due diligence to assess risks and opportunities in potential acquisitions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement strategic plans for mergers and acquisitions.
• Utilize Sage Intacct and Microsoft Excel to analyze financial data and prepare detailed reports.
• Monitor project timelines, budgets, and deliverables to ensure objectives are met.
• Drive process improvements and efficiencies in financial reporting during mergers.
• Provide regular updates and insights to stakeholders on project progress and outcomes.
• Identify and mitigate risks throughout the acquisition process.
• Ensure compliance with industry regulations and company policies during all phases of M& A projects. Requirements • Proven experience managing Mergers & Acquisitions (M& A) projects.
• Strong knowledge of ledger balance sheet accounts and consolidated balance sheets.
• Proficiency in Sage Intacct and advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• Demonstrated ability to conduct thorough due diligence and risk assessments.
• Excellent organizational and project management skills with attention to detail.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills for working with diverse teams.
• Familiarity with financial reporting and compliance requirements in the asset management industry.
• Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field preferred.
