Job Description:

The GFF Procurement Data Analytics Supervisor is responsible for designing, optimizing, and maintaining data-driven processes that support the International Air Freight product. This role emphasizes strong technical capabilities, particularly in SQL, data modeling, and analytical toolsets, to evaluate end-to-end procurement workflows and implement scalable improvements. The position develops global standards, data processes, and system enhancements within its area of responsibility. It continuously monitors the performance and integrity of procurement-related systems, tools, and databases to identify inefficiencies or data-quality issues, then designs and deploys technical solutions to resolve them.

A key component of this role is applying SQL querying, data extraction, and data transformation skills to generate insights that inform strategic procurement decisions. The GFF Procurement Data Analytics Supervisor independently manages various procurement platforms, data pipelines, and reporting tools that enable the global International Air Freight team to effectively analyze and manage transportation spend.

This position serves as the UPS Subject Matter Expert on procurement data structures, system functionality, and process logic, and may supervise others.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Working knowledge of SQL and Excel – Required

  • Proven success in a collaborative, team-oriented environment – Required

  • Experience with data cleaning, data processing, and data visualization – Strongly Preferred

  • Data transformation skills – Required

  • Experience with web scraping, task automation, and computer vision – Preferred, but not required

  • Experience with statistical analysis and AI/ML techniques – Preferred, but not required

  • Must be currently located in the same geographic location as the job or willing to relocate yourself - Required

Working Hours: Monday through Friday from 8AM to 5PM
